The people that I saw is Requiem for a dream. We (Baldiri and me) needed two days to finished it. It's a very strong film, about different forms of addiction. There are 4 main caracters, Sara and Harry Goldfarb (mum and his son), Harry's grilfriend (Marion) and Harry's friend Tyrone.
The story starts in summer, when everyone have got a lot of dreams. Well, the old woman (Sara) wants to assist in a program and stard to use anphetamines to lost weight. The youngs are addicted to heroïn, and they start to sell drugs ilegaly for realize their bussiness and for satisfate his addiction, winning a lot of money. When winter was coming, his state of deterioration starts.
At the end of the film, the old woman become hospitalizating. Harry and Tyrone ends in a prision, the first one with an arm amputed.
Marion degrades herself with orgies and prostituation for get drugs.
